Again, The Unband

The documentary "We Like To Drink: We Like To Play Rock'n'Roll" by filmmaker Lexie Shabel about local musicians The Unband was premiered publicly during the Northampton Independent film Festival on Saturday, November 11th.

A large crowd turned out, though no one was turned away, at Stoddard Hall at Smith College where the film was shown.

A brief Q&A was held at the conclusion of the documentary with (left to right) film editor Kenyon King, sound mixer Mark Alan Miller, Unband bassist and singer Mike Ruffino, drummer Eugene Ferrari, and guitarist and singer Matt Pierce.

Afterward the band played a set at The Elevens on Pleasant St. in Northampton to the delight of a packed club.

Though he has a history of public indecency, and the arrest record to prove it, drummer Eugene Ferrari remained mostly clothed throughout the night despite repeated requests from the crowd.
